1. Return Policy Overview

We stand behind every leather bag that leaves our workshop. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we want to make things right. Our return process is simple, free, and hassle-free — because we believe great craftsmanship should come with great customer support.

This policy applies to all orders placed on manningcustomleather.com and covers returns, refunds, damaged items, and exchanges. Please read through the sections below to understand your options and how to get started.

 

2. Return Window — 30 Days

You have 30 days from the date your order is delivered to initiate a return. We ask that you contact us within this window so we can provide you with a prepaid return shipping label and return instructions.

Returns requested after 30 days from the delivery date may not be accepted. If you are unsure whether your return qualifies, please reach out to us at contact@manningcustomleather.com — we are happy to assist.

The 30-day return window begins on the date your order is marked as delivered by the carrier, as confirmed by your tracking information.

 

3. How to Start a Return

Please do not send your item back without contacting us first. To start a return, follow these steps:

2. Include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and a brief reason for the return.

3. We will review your request and respond within 1–2 business days with return authorization and a prepaid shipping label.

4. Package your item securely using the original packaging if possible, attach the prepaid label, and drop it off at any authorized carrier location.

Returns initiated without prior contact and authorization from our team may not be accepted or refunded. This requirement exists to help us process your return as efficiently as possible — it does not restrict your right to return an eligible item within the 30-day window.

Once we receive your returned item, our team will inspect it to confirm it meets the return conditions outlined in Section 5. You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been processed.

 

5. Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return and refund, the following conditions must be met:

 The item must be unused and in its original, unaltered condition

 The item must show no visible signs of use, scratching, staining, or damage caused after delivery

 All original tags, labels, hardware, dust bags, care cards, or accessories included with the product must be returned

 The item must not have been treated with conditioners, dyes, cleaners, or any other leather care products after receipt

 Original packaging should be included wherever possible to protect the item during return transit

 The return must be initiated within 30 days of the delivery date

Returns that do not meet these conditions may be declined or subject to a partial refund at our discretion. If your return is not accepted, we will contact you to discuss the available options, which may include sending the item back to you at no additional charge.

We understand that leather goods need to be handled to assess quality and craftsmanship. A brief, careful inspection of your item upon arrival is perfectly fine. However, items that show evidence of regular use, outdoor wear, or any alteration will not be accepted for return.

 

6. Free Return Shipping & Return Address

Return shipping is completely free. Once your return request is approved, we will email you a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you. Simply attach the label to your securely packaged item and drop it off at any authorized carrier location.

You do not need to pay anything to return an eligible item. There are no restocking fees, handling fees, or any other costs associated with returning a purchase.

Please do not ship returns to any other address. Items returned to an incorrect address without prior authorization may not be processed and could result in delays or loss of your return.

Always use the prepaid label we provide. Items sent back using a different shipping method may cause delays and could result in you bearing the return shipping cost.

 

7. Refunds

Refund Timeline

Once we receive your returned item, our team will inspect it within a reasonable timeframe. If the return meets our conditions, your refund will be processed within 7 business days of receiving and completing the inspection of the returned item.

We will send you a confirmation email as soon as your refund has been issued. Please allow additional time for the funds to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider:

 Credit and debit cards: typically 3–10 business days after the refund is issued

 PayPal and digital wallets: typically 1–5 business days after the refund is issued

 Other payment methods: timelines vary by provider

Refund Method

All refunds are issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. We are unable to issue refunds to a different payment method, card, or account.

Refund Hold Policy

We reserve the right to withhold the processing of a refund until the returned item has been physically received and inspected at our facility. We will not issue a refund based solely on a shipping carrier's confirmation that the package has been dropped off.

Shipping Costs

Because we offer free shipping on all orders, there are no original shipping fees to refund. If a promotional shipping credit or discount was applied to your order, only the amount actually charged to you will be refunded.

 

8. Non-Returnable Items

The following types of items are not eligible for return or refund:

 Custom or personalized leather bags: Items that have been made to order, monogrammed, engraved, or otherwise customized to your specifications cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged, defective, or materially different from what was ordered.

 Final sale items: Products marked as "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable" on the product page at the time of purchase are not eligible for return.

 Gift cards: Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

If a non-returnable item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, it is still covered under Section 9 of this policy. We will work to resolve the issue regardless of the item's standard return eligibility.

 

9. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

We take great care in inspecting and packaging every leather bag before it ships. However, if your order arrives damaged, defective, or if you received the wrong item, we sincerely apologize and will resolve the issue promptly.

Depending on the nature and severity of the issue, we will offer one of the following resolutions:

 A replacement item shipped to you at no additional cost

 An exchange for a different item of equal or similar value

 A full refund to your original payment method

We do not require you to return damaged or defective items in all cases. Our team will advise you on the best course of action once we have reviewed your photos and assessed the situation.
